CCYCC

CARBON COUNTY YOUTH CRISIS CENTER (CCYCC)

CCYCC offers shelter care, family support, and a 24-hour hotline.  Shelter care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for youth between the ages of 0 and 17.
CCYCC follows its mission to protect and preserve families by providing a variety of services which strengthen and help youth and their families build the skills they need. CCYCC provides a licensed clinical social worker who offers individual and family counseling during crisis. Staff members provide around-the-clock care and supervision for youth residing at CCYCC. At CCYCC, we do not define the crisis.  We are awake when you are!

*CCYCC is a United Way partnering agency.

SERVICES

Emergency Care and Shelter

Crises occur unexpectedly. The CCYCC Shelter Care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Youth between the ages of 0 and 17 are accepted. The length of stay varies and depends on the needs of the family.
Time Outs

CCYCC provides a time-out period away from home for youth as their families "cool down" and refocus. This time prevents serious problems from escalating and helps families work through difficult periods of turmoil that are common during adolescence.
Alternative to Jail/Detention

For many children who have committed less serious offenses, CCYCC provides an alternative to jail/detention and support for children and families who are going through the court system.
