Mathematics
*3 years

Math classes are based on each individual student and their skill levels in Mathematics. Since these classes are set up on an individual basis, each student is provided with a unit plan specific to the student. This provides for a substantial amount of one-on-one attention. Many methods of instruction are used in our math classes including but not limited to; individual study, group work, group projects, the use of hands on mathematic applications and the assignment of work outside of the classroom. Math classes are generally offered in this order:

  • Elementary Mathematics (4th-6th Grade)
  • Basic Mathematics (7th Grade)
  • Pre-Algebra (8th Grade)
  • Algebra I (9th Grade)
  • Geometry (10th Grade)
  • Algebra II (11th Grade)
  • Algebra III/Trigonometry or Pre-Calculus

  • Special Education Mathematics
Special Education Math classes are designed to work on the specific needs of each student. The methods used in these classes are based upon the Individual Education Plans of each student.
  • Deaf Education Mathematics
Deaf Education Math classes are designed solely on the individual needs of each student. Classes will be structured according to each student’s IEP needs.
