We have 3 cottages for male youth (including 1 for deaf and hard of hearing with hearing youth intermixed) and two cottages for female youth (including 1 for deaf and hard of hearing with hearing youth intermixed). Each cottage has a Coordinator, a Counselor, and a team of Residential Care Professionals. All cottages are staffed 24 hours a day.
The Biegert House provides a home for male youth and the Harvey House provides a home for female youth with services in a community setting. Each accommodates up to five young people who seek to succeed in school and become well-rounded citizens of the community while dealing with complex emotional and psychological issues. A licensed counselor provides counseling services to each youth on an individual and family basis. Both homes are staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team which creates an environment conducive to learning and emotional regulation. Although the types and combination of treatment vary, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy are available. Each home also teaches young people the skills needed in every area of their life to be successful in the future.
