Cathedral Home Ceases Operation of
Carbon County Youth Crisis Center
The ability to obtain and retain necessary staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide the clients of CCYCC with the necessary care has been our greatest challenge and largest obstacle in operating the center.
Cathedral Home, long-time youth services organization, announces they will cease operation of the Carbon County Youth Crisis Center, citing consistent staffing issues. Operations at the center (CCYCC) will cease effective immediately, impacting youth crisis care along with diversion and probation supports for juveniles in the legal system.
Cathedral Home states that the decision was made with heavy hearts as their care for the community of Rawlins, Carbon County, and youth across the state remains unwavering.
Cathedral Home is committed to serving youth and families statewide through the Laramie Youth Crisis Center, Community Programs, and their referral-based residential program. Children, teens, and families in crisis can call Cathedral Home’s 24-hour crisis line at (307) 742-5936.
Cathedral Home is a youth & family services organization that offers prevention, community assistance, crisis care, education, and residential care for youth.
