Host a Fundraiser

You can be part of this work.

This work of care doesn’t belong to one agency—it belongs to all of us. Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to help give kids and families access to mental health resources more consistently, more deeply, and more sustainably. Whether you’re fundraising through an event, hosting a lemonade stand, or have an idea for a special project, we are grateful for your generosity and mindfulness.

"I wanted to help Cathedral Home to make the kids happy and comfortable. I wanted to be like my mom and dad and help. I wanted to make kids happy.”

Palmer Pasman, 2020 CHC Ambassador of the Year

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Due to the large demand for clinical and administrative staff time, we can’t guarantee the attendance of our team at your fundraiser. Based on capacity, we will consider this request on a case-by-case basis.

  • In order to protect our clients’ privacy, we do not ask kids in our programs or alumni to speak on Cathedral Home’s behalf. We are pleased to have our current staff share about programs, scenarios and alumni stories, and happy to provide “Stories That Matter” alumni stories printed for your audience.

  • The person or organization hosting the event must agree to obtain all required permits or licenses for the event. Because Cathedral Home is the ultimate beneficiary of your event and has no direct involvement with running the fundraiser, we cannot provide event insurance. The person managing this event is responsible for obtaining event insurance and certificates of insurance, if applicable.

  • Once your event is approved, you will receive online access to a set of fundraising tools that contain our logos.

All event material containing our name or logo must be sent to our Development team for approval prior to printing or distribution. Logo use approval takes approximately two business days.

  • Please make checks payable to Cathedral Home and mail within 30 days to:

  • Yes. We will issue receipts to substantiate donations made payable directly to Cathedral Home. There are complex regulations around the distribution of charitable tax receipts and we are not allowed to delegate authority to issue receipts on Cathedral Home’s behalf. This includes donations of money, in-kind items and services.
