opening doors to hope & healing

We are united by our desire to promote the welfare of youth & families.

In the last year, we have expanded available services and support through the launch of community counseling and telehealth options to reach more youth and families. We are working to upgrade facilities to provide the most compassionate environment of care and we continually invest in caregiver resilience that enriches and sustains the lives of employees.

We’re focused on comprehensive care that serves youth and families no matter where they are or what they can afford. Join us as we eliminate the hurdles and say yes when someone has the courage to ask for help.

The 2020 Community Health Needs Assessment identified mental health care as the #1 unmet need in Albany County.

We are responding by providing community and telehealth counseling options so that no matter where someone lives, they can access the resources they need to thrive.

We partner with youth & families to promote health and wellness by focusing on access to mental health care, nutritious food, coaching and support, connection to compassionate caregivers, and spaces to hope and heal.

your advocacy and support helps to advance:

HEALTH

Promoting health in all forms through trauma-informed offerings that served nearly 650 youth and families last year

EQUITY

Pursuing justice for youth & families by expanding awareness of traumatic experiences & advocating for system change

COMPASSION

From crisis shelters to scholarships, excellent care focuses on meeting needs to impact long-term solutions

ACCESS

Eliminating barriers to quality care and doubling the number of Community clients served by trained providers

We are leveraging technology to expand access to care for youth throughout Wyoming and beyond.

We believe that no one should be limited because of difficulties due to proximities of care, especially in rural areas, financial constraints, or long waiting periods due to provider caseloads.

We are moving forward with hope.

Ensuring that youth & families have the resources to thrive is a job for us all. From employees to donors, child advocates to family workers, we are all part of the mosaic of hope.

Through advocacy, ambassadorship, and action, we’re working in partnership with youth & families.

The Open Door

Notes and news on the journey of hope have been sent annually for over 100 years.

From youth mental health care to crisis shelters, our programs meet critical needs for youth & families. We are so grateful to have compassionate partners who believe in our pursuits:

Building Healthy Futures

Because our health is heavily influenced by family, school, work, and relationships, Cathedral Home is increasing the availability of services through community-based care. In fact, your support allowed our Community Programs team to double the number of clients served in the last year.

Horses and Healing

Long-term solutions are the cornerstone of compassionate care. Equine therapy leads to life-long tenacity, coping skills, and empathy. Your partnership helps youth gain confidence in their ability to care for another living being, as well as feel supported by the horses’ loyal nature.

Pursuit of Justice

To provide the best possible care, equity and trauma-sensitivity must be at the center. We advocate for individual and systems change by pursuing justice, equity, and belonging for our clients and communities. With your help, we are tackling disparities and moving forward with hope.

An Open Door

We are committed to the idea that learning happens everywhere. Through research-based care and unique programs of study like construction skills and outdoor education, young people increase their skills and reduce their risk of self-harm and substance use. Community support leads to gains in relationships, employment, and self-esteem.
